DiSo is not yet a packaged piece of software, it is only a collection of pieces that may or may not do what you envision.

This page holds loose instructions regarding installation of the pieces of DiSo that do exist.

The components that currently exist are listed at wordpress-components and are standalone installs.  Each is designed as a plugin for Wordpress itself.  Plugins are installed by putting their code into your wp-content/plugins directory and then activating them from within your Wordpress Dashboard (/wp-admin/plugins.php).

The Contact List plugin needs the OpenID plugin for its OpenID integration.

There are no other cross-dependencies at this time.
